Good evening friends!
I’m writing to you from dark and stormy Germany on 22 October 2021.
Did you know that Australia is the only country that is also a continent?
There are a lot of cool things that come from Australia: Kangaroos, Wombats, Tasmanian Devils, the now extinct Tasmanian Tiger, and the equally mysterious and vivacious Craig Wright.
You see, today, 22 October 2021 is TEN days before yet another trial in court with Craig Wright vs ______ . And I’m reeeeeaaaaally into this trial! Because I want to know who the F is Satoshi Nakamoto goddammit!
Now a great deal of this newsletter today is going to be dedicated to the topic, finally, of “Who is Satoshi Nakamoto,” but...before I get into that let’s get the particulars out of the way shall we?

JAW DROPPING PREDICTION!
The one and only George Gilder predicts #BSV as the NEXT BIG THING!
This is a big deal...
George Gilder is the one who coined "Moore's Law" - he was actually in the LAB with Dr. Moore when they did!
He gave president Reagan an Intel Microchip as a gift and said "This will change the world."
Boy was he right!
He has predicted Cell Phones (20 years before their invention), GPS, and a whole score of things that all came true.
That's why he's the #1 "Futurist" in the world.
Besides being a NYT #1 author (for his book "Wealth and Poverty") he was the most quoted author by Ronald Reagan.
His book "Life after Google" is also amazing!
So when George Gilder officially endorses #BSV as the "next big thing" --I definitely listen!
Ah yes, speaking about George Gilder and BSV...you know that BSV is the Bitcoin founded by Craig Wright...right?
And you know that Craig Wright says he is Satoshi Nakamoto and that BSV is the real Bitcoin right?
So let me explain, BECAUSE we have only 10 days until it comes out...(hopefully!) that is, if it does not become one of those infamous drawn out court cases...
Who I think Satoshi Nakamoto is:
Now this is going to make me some enemies, and maybe some friends, but I do believe Craig Wright is the legal owner of the pseudonym “Satoshi Nakamoto”.
Legal owner of a pseudonym does not however identify you as that person, let me explain...
PINK FLOYD
Pink Floyd consists of Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and David Gilmour (on far right is now deceased Richard Wright) but their original singer was Syd Barrett.
Syd Barret is also dead now.
Pink Floyd is a pseudonym isn't it?
In the beginning a lot of people were asking “who's Pink?”
As a matter of fact, the band began to fight about it and in the early 80s Roger Waters even sued the rest of the band; that’s how bad it got.
But that's another story for another time. The point is: if anybody was Pink Floyd it was Syd Barrett the original singer.
But he died. So now who is Pink?
Roger Waters, Nick Mason, and David Gilmour have the legal right to the pseudonym “Pink Floyd” right now.
What if David Gilmour and Roger Waters die? —then Nick Mason is the only one left who can claim the name Pink Floyd, right? Wright?
So that's one aspect of it, but that doesn't make Nick Mason Pink Floyd does it? He's just the only one with the legal claim to the name.
The original “Team Nakamoto” at least as far as I can tell was Hal Finney (he received the first ever Bitcoin from Nakamoto), Dave Kleiman, and...Craig Wright.
Hal Finney and Dave Kleiman are unfortunately both dead now.
That leaves Craig Wright as the last person with legal authority to claim the name “Satoshi Nakamoto”.
We could end it right there for legal reasons, but that still doesn’t identify anyone as Nakamoto, does it?
A few years ago Craig Wright offered to prove he was Satoshi by signing some technical mumbo-jumbo with Satoshi's “keys” or signature — or whatever. This was goofy in my eyes, “non-proof” as far as the Bitcoin community was concerned.
“Why doesn't he just move some of the original Satoshi coins Goddammit!?” — the world screamed in unison.
That would be proof—right?
Well, what if when Syd Barrett died, he took his Fender Stratocaster with him to the grave? And now none of the other members of Pink Floyd have access to the Fender Stratocaster. Does that negate their legal claim to the pseudonym Pink Floyd? I don't think it does, but again we still haven't identified anyone as Nakamoto.
Let’s say Craig Wright did move some bitcoins from the original Genesis block, or any one of Satoshi's Bitcoin addresses. Let's say he did sign a transaction with Satoshi’s keys; that only proves that he has Satoshi's keys! Does that make him Satoshi?
If I steal your car keys does that make me you?
I think the only way to positively identify someone is if their next of kin identifies them.
Somebody that knows them and can say they're the real Satoshi or Syd Barrett.
I can steal somebody's clothes and dress up like them, but their relatives would not mistake me for them.
This brings me now to Gavin Andresen.
Andresen is the only living person right now who has worked with Satoshi Nakamoto (albeit through email only) and he claims that Craig Wright told him things that only Satoshi Nakamoto could have known.
Right now he is the only person in the world that can actually positively identify Satoshi Nakamoto— and he says he is indeed Craig Wright...
More interesting is if you look at the court documents linked in the first CryptoRevolution.
You will see that in 2007 a certain Craig Wright developed a digital token for Lasseter’s casino in Australia which tokenized money from all the clients from all over the world, which could then be used as the casino’s chips or tokens in the games. Along with this you see that Craig Wright’s uncle, a lieutenant colonel in the Royal Australian Air Force, also ran one of the first bitcoin nodes at the direction of Craig Wright, and along with this is much more circumstantial evidence: for example Craig right paid for the bitcoin.org domain in 2008, with his credit card!
I don't have an ipso facto ergo sum squidigulum latin style argument here. What I'm saying is: it's looking damn good for Craig Wright...
Now, many people are pissed off at Craig for the many patent infringement cases that he has against them. The original Bitcoin white paper was “won” in court by non other than Craig Wright.
Binance has DE-LISTED BSV from their exchange, supposedly for this reason (how’s that for SJW censorship?!)
But Craig Wright has explained to many, including Nick Szabo, that the original Bitcoin is indeed TURING COMPLETE. This surprised Nick a little bit, who said “…I don’t believe that’s accurate…”
Marketplaces similar to OpenSeas are being built on BSV now…because YES, smart contracts can also be “done” on a BSV blockchain.
Twitter on the blockchain? Yep, it’s called “Twetch” — it’s on… — BSV.
Ebooks on a blockcain??? YEP!!! It’s called Canonic.xyz (yes it’s on BSV)
So I just wanted to get this out there before the “BIG” court cases.
BSV could very well become the next “Ethereum killer”…or even better, it will overcome the 1st mover advantage that BTC has now and take the lead in everything.
But, remember, I could be wrong.
That’s it for today my friends, happy HODL’ing and have a kick-ass weekend!
P.S. I'm buying some more BSV just in case.
P.P.S. Yes that means I believe Craig Wright is indeed Satoshi Nakamoto, and the coming court cases are going to air it, and the ensuing cognitive dissonance orgies are going to be absolutely scrumptious!
People to watch in this space are first and foremost Vitalik Buterin — who has publicly called Craig Wright a fraud.
